“ To be as fair as possible, I'll start with the negative side. Cons - I can't rate higher than 5 stars Now that that's over, let's get to the positives. First, the server (Jillian) was phenomenal. So inviting and friendly, it was like I'd known her for a long time despite me meeting her only minutes before. Second, the food. Oh my gosh, the food...there was not a single part of my meal that I got that wasn't excellent. I have been to multiple states and have tried countless amounts of pulled pork BBQ. I can confidently say that this was the best I've ever had and I'm so happy I picked it. We also got the fried chicken, which was VERY tender and juicy while simultaneously having a perfectly fried breading. Even down to the homemade cornbread croutons (which were exquisite, as you might have guessed), every part of my meal is something I would be happy to try again. If I lived any closer to here, I might have to ask chef Alex to be my personal chef! If you are considering where to eat in Helen, then you can go ahead and stop. I'm sure the other places are good, but there's not a doubt in my mind that you will be happy with your choice to dine here. ”

“ Had a wonderful experience at Campfire! The space is cool, the outdoor seating is a great touch, and the food was delicious! I tried their version of the blooming onion and the 14 oz gunpowder ribeye (which was packed with flavor!), added scallops, and had sides of grilled brussel sprouts with sweet potato bites, and a salad. Had to get the campfire s’mores for dessert, of course. The service was great, and there was so much food. can’t wait to come back! ”

“ Too good! The smash burger doesn't look huge, but believe me, it is huge! Love the flavor and cooked to perfection. 2 patties and bacon make the whole deal. Fries wasn't what I expected compared to other favorite places, but they are ok. Look from the freezer. It's still a great place to eat in Helen. Try the fry Vidalia onion, was too small to look good enough to tear apart the slices and dip them in the ranch, I had to use the fork and knife, but the flavor was great! “ Campfire restaurant in Helen GA is a hidden gem for delicious home style food and is worth the short drive off the downtown hustle and bustle of the Helen GA strip of shopping and long waits for a table. This is out of the way, down a side street, more towards the hotel section of the city. It's worth getting away and having a relaxing meal. There is plenty of free parking in the strip mall parking lot behind the building. You don't have to worry about a long walk since you can drive to it and find free parking. (A nice thing in touristy Helen) We decided to sit outside because of a nice day and wanted to enjoy the cool breeze under the shade. In the evening, there was no sun on the seats outside. On this day, there was a nice breeze to enjoy this early summer early evening. If it's hot outside,you might want to opt for the inside option. The only thing I could say about the outside Miranda is that you may have people from the nearby stores walking close by or through. Sitting down on the veranda immigrated with a friendly wait staff and a homey atmosphere. If you walk inside, there is a series of booths, a few tables in the middle around a campfire motif area. Hence the name. The menu is quite extensive, almost entirely featuring camp like menu. Smashburgers as a major draw for Campfire. While I did not try a burger or any of the handheld relatives, the table next to us had ordered several, and they looked delicious. The clean plates that were picked up from that table also testify to the flavor of their featured burgers. On the drink menu, there is an extensive selection of beers and weed water to choose from to drink. We opted for their house wine, which was a Pinot Grigio with a surprisingly nice nose and taste. Since it was thirsty Thursday a weekly special at campfire, there were discounts for the drinks. (Check the menu for the ) We chose to chicken dishes, from the meals section how's the menu. They came with two sides, and the chicken portions were very generous. Since our sides were chosen with our order, the choice of Caesar salad came out very quickly. A typical Caesar salad with fresh Romaine parmesan and croutons with the Caesar salad and served on the side. But lettuce of the romaine leaves was very crisp and fresh. A good start for a meal The Tuscan grilled chicken has two generous 6 oz portions of chicken breast that came with two choices of sides. This time, we chose a Caesar salad and their mashed potatoes. The Tuscan sauce it is a spinach cream sauce with fire roasted tomatoes this is a perfect complement for the grilled chicken and provided intense flavor, this is a great compliment to the mashed red skinned potatoes, serve Homestyle with some of the peel, making a hearty bite to the dish. It's especially good when eaten with a bite of chicken and sauce . The other entree was the fried chicken, again with two sides. This time, the other side besides the salad was "Backflip brussel sprouts and roasted potato medley." This turned out to be an excellent choice. The chicken portions are too 6 oz chicken breast portions heavily battered and deep-fried. These are served with a steak knife, which will need the steak knife. Chicken was super hot,almost burning your mouth when you first cut into it. The breading was flavorful and thick. The brussel sprouts have an Asian inspired sauce to complement the roasted brussel sprouts that were cut in half to absorb the flavor. The roasted sweet potato medley also complimented and added sweetness to the dish. The only thing I would caution about is the sauce seems to be a soy sauce based as many Asian inspired sauces are if you're trying to watch your salt intake you might ask for the sauce to be served on the side instead of poured over it. Our wait staff team member, Alyssa, was very personable and made our dining experience easy and relaxed. And we were never rushed. Overall, this was a wonderful relaxing evening enjoying the early summer evening. This is going to be one of my go-to places whenever I visit Helen in the future. ”
